For free, in the comfort of your home, learn the basics of body language, vocal delivery, comedy, and negotiation.

No prior experience is needed. This course is designed to get students with little-to-no experience out of their shell and understanding the basics. Students should be aged 11–14. For any questions, contact us.


Students will grow more confident in themselves and as speakers, improvisers, and deal-makers. They will learn the basics of body language, vocal delivery, comedy, and negotiation.


The class will be led by an improv group founder and decorated competitive extemporaneous speaker.


Day 1: Confidence & Body/Vocal Language

  • Mindset of a speaker
  • Tips for inward confidence
  • Keys to portraying confidence
  • Keys to vocal delivery

Day 2: Structure & Comedy

  • Crafting an elevator pitch
  • Crafting a longer speech
  • Making a memorable speech
  • How to make a joke
  • Basics of improv

Day 3: Negotiation

  • Traditional bargaining & its pitfalls
  • Mindset of a negotiator
  • Understanding the other side
  • Making yourself likeable
  • Physical & verbal "hacks"

Day 4: Conflict Resolution

  • Diffusing the other side
  • Demonstrating understanding
  • Getting the other side to "play the game"
  • Physical & verbal "hacks"

Day 5: Tie up Loose Ends

  • Divide into small groups based on weaknesses
  • Learn/critique within & between groups


Days 1–4 (Mon–Thu)

  • 9:30–10: Greetings, Review, Introduction to today's lesson
  • 10–10:30: 1st topic & Exercises
  • 10:30–11: 2nd topic &  Exercises OR Large group game  
  • 11–11:10: Break
  • 11:10–12:10: 2nd/3rd topic & Exercises OR Large group game
  • 12:10–12:40: Lunch
  • 12:40–1:10:  3rd/4th topic & Exercises
  • 1:10–1:40: Large group game
  • 1:40–1:45: Debrief

Day 5 (Fri)

  • 9:30–10: Greetings, Review, Introduction to small groups
  • 10–10:30: Review weaknesses & Individual exercises
  • 10:30–11: Small group game
  • 11–11:10: Break
  • 11:10–12:10: Small groups compete in Large group game
  • 12:10–12:40: Lunch
  • 12:40–1:10:  Review weaknesses & Individual/Small group exercises
  • 1:10–1:40: Small groups compete in Large group game
  • 1:40–1:45: Debrief
